Do You Take Delight in Your Work?

Fred Rogers of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood had this to say about successful people:

“The thing I remember best about successful people I’ve met all through the years is their obvious delight in what they’re doing…and it seems to have very little to do with worldly success. They just love what they’re doing, and they love it in front of others.”

That delight is contagious. When you encounter someone who is smiling and obviously enjoying the task at hand, a little of that joy spills over onto your day. The same is true for those who work a trade show booth.

Bring Delight to the Trade Show Booth
People who are genuinely enjoying the experience of meeting and greeting others, asking about their business, learning about their needs and sharing insights into their own products are just fun to be around.

Happy Sales People = Happy Customers

Happiness is contagious.
“A  study published in Statistics in Medicine indicates that not only can happiness spread from one person to another, but it can also spread up to three degrees beyond those relationship-to friends of friends.
Nicholas Christakis, an author of the study and professor at Harvard Medical School explains, “Everyday interactions we have with other people are definitely contagious, in terms of happiness.” ( Deliver Happiness)

Build a Booth of HappyBest in Show Winner
As you work with your trade show vendor to design the perfect trade show displays made sure you include a team of salespeople trained and motivated to bring the happy to the experience.
Word will quickly spread throughout the trade show venue that your booth is the place to go for entertainment, laughs, hands-on product experiences and fun people.

Cultivating Happy Employees
Which comes first: success or happiness? There is a strong case to support the fact that those who are happy are so regardless of their level of success. And yet, it is their happiness that leads to success.
Shawn Achor, author of  The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology that Fuel Success and Performance at Work, says:
“When we begin with happiness, we’re actually more likely to end up with the success we mistakenly thought was a prerequisite for happiness.”
